and some handy tips

• If TaxSlayer getes stuck with a blank page, type chrome://restart in the address bar. It will reset Chrome, you will login to TaxSlayer again, but you don't have to restart the chromebook from scratch.
• If you get a strange error message about invalid EIN when entering the SSN to start a return, close down the browser, restart it and log into TaxSlayer again
• You can store documents you want to look at frequently on your "Google Drive"

  When you download a document it may go into your Google Drive, or it may go into "downloads" You can find these by clicking on the circle in the lower left of your screen, and selecting "files." Stuff that is in your "Google Drive" will always be there for you when you open a chromebook with your AARP account. Stuff in "my files" seems to go away when you shut down, so that is not a good place for permanent storage. You can move files like in windows; select the file and drag or right click and copy/paste.
