The Brac

On our last day on Grand Cayman, we went to Rum Point. Nobody had a hotdog, but we thought about those who usually did. Mostly we lazed around, and literally "chilled out" in the Norther. Here are Jeff and Cindy on the pier.
On the Brac, we stayed at our cousin's house, Walton's Mango Manor. George Walton is descended from an English sea captain, as are many of the Brac's inhabitants. Maybe that captain was related to the Walton who is our ancestor, and also a seafairing man, so George Walton would be our cousin.
We spent most of our first day on the Brac exploring by car and foot. We put over 100 miles on this car, which is a lot considering the Brac is 12 miles long. Here we are on the "Lighthouse Road," on top of the plateau that is the high part of the island. Brac Car
Blue Flower There is a parrot reserve for the Cayman Parrots (who were in hiding). We hiked around and saw these flowers.
There are yellow flowers too. Yellow Flower
Besides the lush forest, there are big cactuses.
And little cactuses. Little Cactus
Bluff At the end of the road is the lighthouse and the bluf.
Here we are sitting on the bluff. Group on the bluff
